RMA residences are defined by inspiring architecture, healthy design, craftsmanship and a deep connection with nature. Places to live well. At the heart of every project is a shared curiosity among our clients, team, suppliers, consultants and craftspeople to explore what is possible, challenge convention and transform possibility into exceptional, enduring design.
For more than three decades, RMA has brought together the search for extraordinary land, architecture, interiors, furniture curation and styling, landscape architecture and strategic management into one integrated residential practice. Underpinning every project is a genuine empathy for our clients and a belief that every residence should be tailored to the life they seek to live.
We believe the most meaningful homes are shaped by both people and place. We take time to understand our clients, their beliefs, aspirations and the way they want to live, while looking just as carefully at the landscape, climate and character of the land. Architecture brings these elements together in order to create new possibilities. When the relationship between people, architecture and place feels natural, a home becomes more than a beautiful environment. It becomes a deeply personal expression of intent, while creating the freedom to live more fully and pursue what really matters.
We believe the places we choose to live have a profound influence on the quality of our lives. Healthy Living guides every residence we create, shaping environments filled with natural light, fresh air, meaningful connections to nature and spaces that encourage families to rest, gather, create, experience joy and spend more time together.
The most enduring residences feel as though they have always belonged. They respond to their landscape, reflect the aspirations of their owners and evolve gracefully over time. Every decision is considered through the lens of longevity, craftsmanship and the experience of living there for many years to come.
Every remarkable home begins with a relationship built on trust. We take the time to understand our clients, their families and the life they are seeking to create. That understanding becomes the foundation for every decision that follows and every place we are privileged to design.
We believe the most rewarding journey begins with listening. Understanding our clients, their beliefs, aspirations and the way they want to live affords us the freedom to explore new possibilities. Through conversation, freehand sketching and the exchange of ideas, we unlock the potential of the land and allow architecture to gradually reveal itself. It is a process of discovery that results in a home that feels deeply personal and connected to place.
An idea becomes more powerful when it can be seen, understood and shared. We begin with freehand sketches, exploring possibilities instinctively before developing them through detailed three-dimensional modelling and hyper-real visualisations. These tools allow us to question our thinking, change direction quickly and invite our clients into the creative process with remarkable clarity. As the architecture and interiors evolve, this shared understanding gives everyone involved the confidence to make better decisions and realise the vision together.
