Sited on a steep block of land the house will make the most of water views, vegetation and the sound of the crashing waves through a bold cantilever which emphasises horizontal planes and contemporary linear living. Light will be pulled into the centre of the building through an expansive internal light well.
A protected pool is designed to nestle into the hillside at the rear of the property while a shallow reflection pool is positioned at the front, ensuring that the daily living space is sandwiched, evocatively, between two bodies of water, with the ocean beyond.
